I have a story: A couple weeks ago on Thursday I received a call from Dr Mason, he told me he wanted to delay my chemotherapy by one week. Not a big deal he said. He wanted my bone marrow to be boosted a little more before I start another round.

Our girls and I have a thing about ladybugs from when I used to read them “Ladybug, Ladybug, Where Are You?” as babies, and my friend Colleen, left this t-shirt on my doorstep.
Of course... I get off the phone and immediately the fear, the doubt and the “what if's” start. It was naptime, so I decided to go to sleep and just pray that everything was okay. When I woke up from my nap I had a few texts on my phone from Drew of ladybug tattoos.

I don't know how people can think that God isn't intimately involved in every detail of our lives. It's a continual reminder how much he loves us and wants to take care of us. Some people call it a coincidence and some call it a God-incident. I believe its God loving us so much. I want to thank Drew and Colleen for being faithful and a part of Gods plan.

Every day I recognize something that is better than even a month ago. Every day I am able to work harder at my Physical therapy, which makes me very happy. We continue to be so blessed by all of you and are looking forward to a bright future.

A little while later I went to the front door and I found a gift.

Thanking GOD every day for his faithfulness
Hi everybody, I have another victory story.

Last August Jeff, Mary, Andy and I went to the Tuna Challenge for Make-A-Wish Foundation. There was a live auction fund raiser; the guys got carried away bidding on a vacation week in Costa Rica. In my mind I'm thinking there's no way I can do this. They all assured me I could do it. I thought yeah yeah. Andy kept reassuring me that I could do this, as he keeps telling me we all need goals. We didn't talk about it again until late November when Jeff said we need to start planning our trip. Even then I thought yeah yeah. Again Andy assured me I could do this. So we booked it for late February. I said to myself this is going to happen and I better get on board.

After the first of the year I told Chelsea my PT I was going to hike and zip line in Costa Rica. We started training and she told me exactly what I needed to do to be ready for this trip. Have I told you how much I love Chelsea lately?

With prayers and a lot of hard work from everybody involved. Jeff, Mary, Andy’s brother Mark and his girlfriend Lisa, Luanne and Ron Bas went on the trip. They were all so caring and made me feel safe. We Zip lined, we hiked Manuel Antonio National Forest and we went to a Butterfly farm. Andy and I walked on the beach every morning it was so beautiful.

Oh yeah one more thing. I RAN ON THE BEACH!!!! During one of our walks a wave came in and I just instinctively ran up the beach. I cannot even begin to tell you how great it was. Over the past year I have had dreams of running again. God continues to amaze me, in big ways, and in every day details.

Happy Summer Prayer Warriors!!!

It has been so long since our last post. Our girl has been busy; trips, graduation, healing and getting a new car!!!

I worked out with Susan AFTER she hiked (in the heat) for almost 4 miles. She is an animal and so determined to "get back" everything. She had just gotten home from a trip to Seattle where she hiked 7 miles one day. Just so we all are on the same page, last year at this time she was working on transferring her weight from foot to foot. Now she does walking lunges with a medicine ball. Last year she was doing "prayer punches". This year she is doing water colors. Last year she was trying to hold a fork, this year she is signing her name. SO MUCH HAS CHANGED!!!!! Susan gives God the Glory. She is grateful and thankful for His Presence and Miraculous Healing. She is moving forward with her life and takes NOTHING for granted!

Drew graduated in June......what an accomplishment for our amazing "Drewbie". She listened to her family and hung in there at Oregon and now she is a graduate! We are ALL so proud of her......what an incredible feat to be able to study and concentrate when she felt as though the rug was pulled out from under her! Drew is a Rockstar!!

Also in June Susan had another MRI. And there was more SHRINKAGE!!!!!
The nasty cancer just keeps getting smaller and smaller. God is so incredible!! It's a miracle and not one of us should forget that. Whenever I'm with Sus I see the face of Jesus and I am reminded again and again how much He loves us all. Her light is His light and it's contagious!!!

Today, right now, life is so beautiful. Let's all live in His Presence and enjoy His Blessings. Hug your kids tighter, tell your spouse you love him/her and be ever grateful for this day because "This is the day that the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it".
